She is survived by: her husband Christopher Kaauwai; her sons, Raphael Mendez, Kekoa Alapaki Lagunte Sr. and Kawainui Lagunte; her sister Roselani Oga; and her stepchildren, Enoka Nahoopii, Iponohea Nahoopii-Kaauwai, Jonelle Nahoopii-Kaauwai, Christyne Nahoopii-Kaauwai, Kawailehua Nahoopii-Kaauwai and Audrey-Elizabeth Nahoopii-Kaauwai. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Manu O Ke Kai Canoe Club.
