He is survived by: his children, David Duarte (Melissa), Kara Ganiko, Jeannie Duarte, Desiree Duarte and Shayne Duarte; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Duarte. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces, and nephews.
