She is survived by: her husband Arthur Kawakami of Kealakekua; her children, Anthony Kawakami (Kirsten) of Hilo and Janelle Araki (Jordan) of Kailua-Kona; her grandchildren, Kayla, Ethan and Addison Araki; her great grandchild Kolton Araki; and her siblings, Robert, George Matsuyama of Kona and Gail Pang (Jeff) of Oahu.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Daifukuji Soto Mission Temple (79-7241 Mamalahoa Hwy, Kealakekua, HI 96750). A family service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
