He was predeceased by: his brother Richard Hamai. He is survived by: his siblings, Melemarie Hamai Anderson, Lehua Fern Hamai, Kanale Opiana (Yvette), Kimo Opiana Sr., Ululani Glass, Jan Sardinha (Warren), Lang Wiltshire (Bill), Charles "Butchie" Kuahine (Cindy), Zel Boddie, Claire Serrao (David), Keith Ann Lum (Bryant), Suzanne Yamamoto, Christopher Kuahine (Mary) and Anna-Marie Enomoto; and his daughters, Kristie-Ann Baqui-Naki and Jessica Fujimoto-Vazquez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunties.
