It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tomeo Kanetani of Kurtistown, Hawaii, born in Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sons, Kane Kanetani (Rebecca) of Mililani, Keith Kanetani (Moriel) of Kurtistown and Kerry Kanetani (Janis) of Kurtistown; his brother Masato Kanetani of Honolulu; and his sisters-in-law, Masayo "Amy" Kanetani of Hilo and Barbara Kanetani of Honolulu. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
