He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Chew of Mountain View; his children, Jerome Chew of Hilo, Stefanie Brown of Oregon, Rachel Chew of Hilo and Catherine Chew of Kona; and his siblings, Myron Chew (Christine) of Ka'a'awa, Oahu, Joseph Chew of Alabama, Douglas Chew of Honolulu, Shirley Green (Duane) of Texas, Edmae Bryson (Lane) of Idaho and Violet McCorvey of Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
