It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Asuncion of Pahoa, Hawaii, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his children, Edeen T. Gouveia (Henry G. Acia) of Hilo, Ruby Kobayashi (Robert), Christine Asuncion-Mattos (Russel) of Keaau and Edward A. J. Asuncion of Hawaiian Beaches; and his siblings, Lynette Retuta (Ronald), Rosaline Auna (Paul) of Honolulu, Angel "Gloria" Asuncion, Helena Asuncion, Clayton Asuncion (Eileen), Kirk Asuncion, Shirley Crawley of Honolulu and Angel Sarong (Gail) of Hawaiian Beaches. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one-great-great-grandchild.
