It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leonard Gerkensmeyer (Pahoa, Hawaii), born in Redwood City, California, who passed away on April 13, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Diana Gerkensmeyer of Pahoa; and his sons, Benjamin Gerkensmeyer (Rachael) of Ocean View, Kelly Gerkensmeyer of Arnold, Sean Gerkensmeyer of Sacramento, California and Michael Gerkensmeyer of Portland, Oregon. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers, numerous nieces & nephews.
