He is survived by: his children, Gary Kihara (Debbie Connally) of Volcano, Clyde Kihara (Mari) of Pahoa and Cynthia Shinshiro (Cory) of Pahoa; and his siblings, Wayne Kihara (Carol) of Wahiawa, Leroy Kihara (Patricia) of Pahrump, Nevada, Shirley Koga (Oahu) of Salt Lake and Mildred Kiyono of Kaneohe. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
