With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lydia Kiauw Nio Kwee of Wailuku, Hawaii, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lydia Kiauw Nio Kwee to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Soen Liang Kwee. She is survived by : her children, John Kwee (Lisa), Nathan Kwee (Jasmine) of Kwee's Maui Cookies, Sam Kwee (Lori) and Rosy Olaso (Darin); her grandchildren, Joshua Araki-Kwee (Sarah), Justin Araki-Kwee, Kimi Mentz (Barry), Krystal Kwee-Zambrano (Matthew), Devan Kwee, Mitchell Kwee (Zaneta), Sari Kwee (Kwee), Destin Olaso, Danae Olaso and Daniel Olaso; her great grandchildren, Lana, Vance, Nicholas, Lexi, Matthew, Brixton and Oliver; and her siblings, Seng Nio Tan, Nelly Jahja, Yat Lee Tan, Yat Beng Tan and Jenny Sie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ballard Family Mortuary (440 Ala Makani St, Kahului, HI 96732). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
