We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2021, at the age of 82, Mary Lou Kala of Wailuku, Hawaii, born in Honolulu, Hawaii passed away. She was predeceased by : her husband Ronald Aki Kamana Kala; her sons, Earl Kalona Kala and David Kaulana Kala; her parents, Peter Leng Fook Ching and Christina Kamomi Rodrigues Ching; and her brothers, Peter Ching, Harvey Ching and Clifford Ching.

She is survived by : her son Gregory Kamana Kala (Albideen "Abby" N.); her grandsons, Ronald Aki Kamana Kala (Victoria), Joseph K. Kala and Gregory Keahi Kala; her daughter Mary Kaui Kala-Brook (Elzie G. Brook); her grandchildren, Steve Austin Swann, Matthew Swann and Makayla Swann; and her sister Leona Ching. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Due to covid19, private family services will be held followed by a public drive thru visitation from 10am to 12pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Ballard Family Mortuary.
