He was predeceased by : his wife Theresa DeFrancia. He is survived by : his children, Jason DeFrancia (Jovena), Andrew Diaz (Annette), Matthew DeFrancia Jr. (Shiara), Kevin DeFrancia (Elayna), Kyle DeFrancia (Rashawyn), Malcolm DeFrancia (Samantha) and Ainahau Akima (Stacey); his grandchildren, Chasity, Kalei, Shalei, Bryson, Haylee Ann, Kolby, Tyler, Anuhea, Chance, Kross, Abcde, Kyeana-Faye, Jhastinee, Destine, Javen, Jacob, Shaeyla, River-Marissa and Joshua; his great grandchildren, AJ, Ayla, Azen, Kailea, Kala, Tzylus, Tzarieus, Akai, Lily, Kama, Hiapo, Joshua and Jonah; and his brothers, Lawrence De Francia and Eugene De Francia.
