He is survived by : his close friend Donna McCabe; his children, Paula Tavares (Richard), Douglas Cernal (Peaches), Debbie Day (Major) and Jason Cernal; and his siblings, Mildred Baldovi (Richard) and Jean Kanae (David). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
