He is survived by : his wife Soledad Calpito of Waimea; his children, Maricel Badon (Tony) of Waikoloa, Maryjane Rafael (Roger), Marivic Uberita (Jonas), Mariehnor Remolacio (Renato) of Manila, Philippines and Marjohn Calpito (Lesly) of Cagayan, Philippines; his siblings, Lilian Tablit (Gregorio) of Waimea, Arsenio Calpito (Imelda) of Las Vegas and Lito Calpito (Evangeline) of Cagayan, Philippines; and his mother-in-law Esmenia Unciano Dela Cruz of Cagayan, Philippines. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
