He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie A. Knoll and Josephine B. Knoll (Applen); his wife Lola M. Wicks; and his siblings, John and Pauline.
He is survived by: his children, Kent of Adel, Burke (Robyn) of Adel, Bruce (Beth) of Adel and Gayle Arnburg (Rick) of Maxwell; his grandchildren, Dustin Conover (Marcy) of Adel, Wade Conover (Ashley) of Ackworth, Rachel Knoll (Brandon) of Adel, Kyle Knoll (Cassie) of Adel and Cole Knoll (Madie) of Des Moines; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Paisley, Kimber, Braelyn and Lyndee; and his close friend Fern Dickey.
Due to the current State of Iowa restrictions on COVID-19 for social gatherings, all visitations and services are limited.
The family requests no flowers and memorial donations may be made to Panther Creek Church of the Brethren or Mainstream Living, a nonprofit care organization.
