It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerrold Byron Hanselman of Adel, Iowa, born in Minburn, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, DeWitt Hanselman and Cecelia Hanselman (Smith); his siblings, Lucena Hanselman and Everett Hanselman (Irene); his brothers-in-law, Bob House and Rocky Miles; and his niece Carla Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Carpenter; his children, Mark Hanselman (Pat) of New Sharon, David Hanselman (Carol) of University Park, Fenton Hanselman of New Sharon and Lea Ann DeCook (Terry) of New Sharon; his grandchildren, Travis Hanselman (Olivia), Holly Hanselman (Waylon Williams), Kyle Hanselman, Fritz Hanselman, Ashlar Hanselman, Miranda Johnson (Joshua), Anna Panada (Pete), Alexis Beck (Jake), Tiffany Hammerly (John) and Tasha Gibson (Hal); his great great grandchildren, Weslynn and Silas Panada; his sisters, Carol Rickels (KDon), Merna House and Fae Miles; and also, Hagan, Hugo, GiGi, Geona, Kylie, Drake, Korbin, Agustis, Paisley, Cheyenne, Cherise, Joey, Wiley, Brooke, Henrick and Kenzie. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lacey United Methodist Church.
