Melissa Grabill Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Grabill of Adel, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2021 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her stepfather Roger Kelly; her mothers-in-law, Mary Grabill and Carol Carson; her grandparents, Wayne, Maxine Chadwick, Verna Xanders (Nelson) and Glenn "Mike" Xanders; her great-grandparents, Sylvester, Lavora Sickerson, Frank and Nellie Whetsler; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Grabill and Kimberly Carson.
She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Xanders (Myra) and CoAnn Kelly; her husband Thomas Grabill; her daughter Lisa Downing (Wade); her stepdaughter Natasha Hergert (Chris); her siblings, Michele Bolton, Rodney Hopkins and K. C. Kelly; her grandchildren, Bryer, Gwenivere Downing, Aubree, Zoey, Oliver and Stella Hergert; her fathers-in-law, Oscar Grabill and Robert Carson; and her siblings-in-law, Cora Pruitt (Don), Laura Belew (Leonard), Linda Alexander (Larry), Kathy Davis and Dewayne Carson (Endisa). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network (PANCAN).
