She was predeceased by : her parents, Randall Pickering and Edith Pickering; her husband Robert Putnam; her grandson Evan; and her brothers, Donald and Homer Lee.

She is survived by : her son Michael (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Patrice (Alvin) and Max (Krissy); her granddaughter-in-law Kim; her great grandchild Zoey; and her nieces, Rosalee, Deana and Lisa (Ed).

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

The family kindly requests no flowers, and suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, King Opera House, or Lone Pine Cemetery, to honor her memory with her chosen charities.
