With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorthy Marie Heaton (Albia, Iowa), who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Starcevic and Mary Starcevic (Thomas); her husband DeWayne Heaton; and her siblings, Rosella Bettis, George and Jim Starcevic.

She is survived by : her sons, Wayne Heaton (Lynn) and Troy Heaton (Julie); her grandchildren, Erin, Jay, Ryan and Logan; her brother Francis Starcevic (Virgene); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Starcevic, Judy Clark and Marvin Heaton (Ellen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

An open memorial has been established to the family.
