He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary "Joanna" Morney (Cooper) and Ed Morney; his siblings, Dorothy, Wendell, Harold "Bud", James and Jerry; and his nephew Ronald Morney.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Pam Teague (Robert Earl), Tammy Morney, Angie Johnson, James Morney Jr., Rod Morney (Charlotte), Aaron Morney and Wendell Morney (Lynette); his sister-in-law Carol Morney; and his close friend Garnett Lantiser. He is also survived by several cousins and countless good friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
