She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Howie and Olive Marie Howie (Lord); her brothers, Dick Howie and Bob Howie; and her siblings-in-law, Viola Howie and Kevin Wood.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Howie (Vicki), Jim Howie, Donna Wood, Dorothy Wagner, Mary Pepmeyer, John Howie (Susan) and Larry Howie; and her sister-in-law Cathy Howie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531).
An open memorial has been established to the family.
