He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hoversten and Ilo Hoversten (Weaver); his brothers, Robert Hoversten, Donald Hoversten (Jackie), Wallace Hoversten (Shirley), Richard Hoversten, Harold Hoversten, Gene Hoversten, Maurice Hoversten (Donna) and Ronald Hoversten; and his siblings-in-law, Maynard Rockow, Jay Jacobson, Darrell Rout and Kyong Aechoe.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Richtsmeier (Ralph) of Babbitt, Delia Rockow of Alden, Verna Scott of Branson, Evelyn Kinstle (Tom) of Bowling Green, Frances Rout of Cambridge and David Hoversten of Alden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
