It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bryan Douglas Welsh (Altoona, Iowa), born in Geneva, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Welsh (Blough); his father-in-law Delbert Sachau; and his brother-in-law John Vassallo. He is survived by: his father Russell Welsh of Madison, Ohio; his wife Annette of Altoona; his children, Justin Welsh (Elizabeth) of Johnston, Meghan Welsh (Jake) of Iowa City and Connor Welsh of Altoona; his granddaughter Elsie of Johnston; his siblings, Sandy Vassallo of Columbia, SC and Russell Welsh (Linda) of Geneva, Ohio; his mother-in-law Dorene Sachau of Denison; and his siblings-in-law, Chad Sachau of Denison, Joni Tokheim (Jim) of Sioux Falls, SD, Michelle Sachau of Denison and John Sachau (Brinda) of Denison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
