Carol Kay Elmore Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Kay Elmore of Altoona, Iowa, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Niebergall and Stella Niebergall (Torkelson); her brothers, Sunny, Bob, Gary and Bruce; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd and Jerry.
She is survived by: her husband Carlton Elmore; her children, Pam Strong (Alan) and Gary Elmore; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilkening (Jake) and Max Strong (Ariel); her great grandchild Brewer Wilkening; and her siblings, Jimmy (Roberta), Pam, Charlene (Vince), Judy (Ab) and Mary.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home (105 4th St SW, Altoona, IA 50009).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Carol.
