It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Bender (Altoona, Iowa), born in Minburn, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Art Bender; her parents, Virgil Untied and Elsie Untied; and her sisters, Mildred Hornberg and Afton Gibson.
She is survived by: her son Bob Bender (Carol); her grandsons, Ryan Bender (Kristie) and Brett Bender; and her great grandchildren, Anna Bender and Addison Bender. She is also survived by son, daughter in-law, sisters, nieces, nephews and her wonderful friends.
