He is survived by: his children, Justin Rule (Becky) of Des Moines, IA, Blakely Mortvedt (Aaron) and Roarke Rule; his grandchildren, Julia, Gibson, Cullen Rule, Chloe Mortvedt and Devon Mortvedt; his sisters, Marcia Pritt, Lynette Bakenhus and Shelley Rule; his parents, Gilbert Rule and Geneva Bridge; and his brother David Rule.
