He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edwin and Esther Marie Carver (White); his son Christopher; and his grandsons, Cory and Logan.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Mindy Speake of Ames, IA, Tracy McAninch, Carrissa Stethem (Cecil) of Marathon, IA, Bud McAninch (Amanda) of Gypsum, CO and Rhonda Carver of Allenton, WI; his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Noah, Austin, Lucas, Emily, Lily, Devin, Addison, Caitlin, Chase, Cade and Crimson; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Emory.
