He was predeceased by: his parents, George Karaidos, Sr. and Winnie Karaidos (Martin); his son Gary; and his siblings, Marie and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Karaidos (Finley); his children, Lori Flook of Windsor Heights, IA, Randy Karaidos of Des Moines, IA and Larry Karaidos of Adel, IA.; his grandchildren, Andrea Flanagan Reese (Justin), Stephanie Arrigo (Dave), Parkville, MD, Katie Seidman (David), Nathan Karaidos (Erica), Colby Karaidos of Des Moines, IA, Jordan Johnson (Cole), Kelsey Opague (Jeff), Taylor Karaidos and Matthew Karaidos; his sister Helen Cunningham of Winterset, IA; and his pet Skeeter Davis Karaidos.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the local Animal Rescue League.
