She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ellen O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Brien (Neary); her brothers, John Francis and Donald; her children, Mary Elizabeth Helm (Glenn), Ann Marie Blasco-Orsinger (David), James Anthony Blasco (Lesa), John Joseph and Jude Thomas; and her sister Margaret Josephine. She was also cherished by grandchildren, 19 living great grandchildren, and numerous honorary grandchildren.
She overcame multiple health ailments, and most recently, she refused to let Alzheimer's take her mind as long as she could.
