We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2020, at the age of 91, James Monahan in Altoona, Iowa, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monahan and Dora Monahan (Mahley); and his siblings, Tom, Mick, Bill, Alice, Dort, Peg and Kathlein.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Flora Rickards; his wife Flo; his son Doug Monahan; his grandchildren, Sydney Dunn (Erin), Samantha, Skylar and Saydie Monahan; his great grandchildren, Talon and Isabelle Dunn; and his nephew Patrick Monahan.

Memorials may be directed to Prairie Vista Village in Altoona or Suncrest Hospice.
