It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Vance (Altoona, Iowa), born in Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Vance and Minnie Vance (Hair); his wife Linda; his brother Gordon Vance; and his granddaughter Hailey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Vance of Des Moines and Veronica Gladwin of Carlisle, Iowa; his siblings, Betty Weikum of Spencer, Iowa and Donn Vance (Linda) of Monterey, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Ryan Hochart, Caitlin Vance, Ashley Gladwin and Emily Gladwin.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of John.
