She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Roorda and Minnie Roorda; her parents-in-law, Ben and Gertrude Lourens; her brother John Brouwer; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Lourens and Connie Brouwer.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Lourens of Runnells; her sons, Douglas, Kevin (Jonathan) of Washington, DC and Doug (Diane) of Urbandale; her grandchildren, Rob of Seattle, John (Jess) of Omaha and Anna Culbert (Evan) of New Hampshire; her siblings-in-law, Les, Ruth Lourens of Altoona and Janice Brouwer of Des Moines; and her siblings, Bob Brouwer of Pella and Judi Van Hemert (Stan) of Newton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family requests masks be worn and social distancing is encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Adventure-Life Reformed Church Building Fund.
