He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Weter and Gladys Weter (Slack); his daughter Laci Ann Weter; and his sisters, Nancy Dole and Martha Davison.
He is survived by: his children, Ben A. DeWitt, Justin Weter (Emilie), Travis Weter and Lindsey Weter; and his sister Mary Jane Tripp. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren.
