He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Russell and Irene Marie Plucar Sloan; and his father-in-law Robert. He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Marchik); his children, Anessa Jordan (Josh) of Mesquite, Dustin Sloan of Mesa, AZ and Danalea Blum (David) of Wellman, IA; his siblings, Kurt Sloan (Jean) of Carlisle, Diana Jacobs (Steve) of Urbandale, Darin Sloan (Kelly) of Savannah, MO and Scott Sloan (Michelle) of Altoona; and his mother-in-law Lorna Marchik of Tipton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the in memory of Leigh's mother.
