It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norval James Hills (Altoona, Iowa), born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sue; his parents, Dick Hills and Ruth Hills; his in-laws, Herb and Elsie Wheeldon; and his brother-in-law Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Wickman (Chris), James Lucken Hills (Dawn) and Trevor Hills (Jennie); his grandchildren, Braeden, Taylor, Deacon, Trent, Amos and Caitlin; his pet Molly; his siblings, Linda (Pat), Bonnie (Mark), Dan (Marie), Al (Cherri) and David (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Wayne (Marsha) and Helen.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Altoona Christian Church (2890 1st Ave S, Altoona, IA 50009). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
