It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby A. Harrington (Altoona, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Westley McClain and Dorothy McClain; her children, Sharel Short (Jim), Debra Mitchell and Daney Harrington; her grandchildren, Angelia Rogers (Clint), Shaun Short (Toni), Jacob Harrington and Jared Harrington; her great grandchildren, Cole Rogers, Addison Rogers and Sullivan Short; her brothers, John McClain and Dale McClain; her husband Dwight Harrington; and her brother Charles McClain.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League to support their animal foster care programs.
