She was predeceased by: her father Larry Gilliam; her niece Jessica Smith; and her brother-in-law Charles Goodhue. She is survived by: her mother Mary Gilliam (Janssens); her children, Heather Lau, Stephen Lau and Josh Guerra-Lau (Ryan); her grandchildren, Conner Whitacre and Chloe Lau; her sisters, Sheryl Goodhue (Brandon North) and Carey Smith (Larry); and her nephews, Shawn Carlson, Michael McDonald, Tyler Goodhue and Jordan Goodhue (Savannah Smith). She is also survived by extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
