He was predeceased by: his parents, Madonna Cooper Hanson and Dr. Robert Hanson Sr. Tim; and his brother Robert James Hanson Jr. (Jim). He is survived by: his children, Tim Hanson Jr. (Sarah) and Missy Johnson (Eric); his siblings, Tom Hanson (Jan), Paula Patrick and Theresa Voss; his stepmother Betty Hanson; and his grandchildren, Eleanor, Olivia Hanson, Eli and Evan Johnson.
