She was predeceased by : her parents, Carrie (Proper) and Herman Klein, Jr.; her former life partners, Orise Utecht and James Duffy; her husband Robert Burk; her children, Salana Rance and Harlan Utecht; and her sister Pearl Grasz (Vernon).

She is survived by : her brother Harold Klein (Diana); her grandchildren, Amy Lefebvre (Nate), Abby Utecht, Brian Michalec (Laura), James Michalec, Carey Rance (Candice) and Eric Rance; and her nieces and nephews, Jeff Klein (Sherrie), Greg Klein, Lisa Klein Carlile (Al), Connie Sager (Gene) and Robert Weenink (Connie). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Amana Retirement Community or the Alzheimer's Association.
