He is survived by : his children, Ed (Nancy) of Corvallis, OR, Mary McKinney (Jeff) of Tipton, IA, Margaret Ploeger (Jeff) of Spirit Lake, IA, Brian (Debbie) of Ames, Dan of Galveston, TX, Lori Larson (Lance) of Fairfax, IA and Steve (Michelle) of St. Louis Park, MN; and his stepchildren, Paul Weaver (Cindy Heath) of Gilbert, AZ, Helen Valliere (Alan) of Mesa, AZ and Jane Benavidez (Gil) of Florence, AZ. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
