It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Joy Heckenbach of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on June 24, 2017, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, A. E. "Pop" and Esther Johnson (Marander); her children, Allan Bates (Jane) of Roseville, MN, Jeffrey Bates of Hackensack, MN, Kirsten Page (Randy) of Ames and Karen Baldacci (Steve) of Channahon, Ill; and her grandchildren, Allan, Becca Bates, Sara and Natalie Chaffee-Bates.
Memorial contributions may be made in Darlene's name to the Ten Mile Lake Association or the National TTT (Tri T) Society.
