He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bappe and Mildred Bappe (Pederson); and his siblings, Joan Danielson (Robert) and Dale Bappe. He is survived by: his wife Bonita Weltha; his daughters, Donna Johnson of Ames and Terri Bailey (Earlman) of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Gabriel Johnson (Vivian), Michael Johnson, Josiah Johnson and Mariah Johnson; his great grandchildren, Grace Johnson and Uriah Johnson; and his sister-in-law Nina Bappe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
