We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2018, at the age of 92, Dorothy E. Porter Vance (Ames, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; and her siblings, Eugene Porter, Harriett Moore and Phyllis Noble. She is survived by: her sister Harriet; her children, Ellen Christine and Paula Olivia; her husband Professor; her daughters, Christine Waldorf, Heilman Waldorf of Port Angeles, WA and Paula Waldorf of Loveland; her grandchildren, Erik Heilman (Katie) of Washington, D. C., Lesley, Compagnone of Arlington, VA, Dustin Waldorf (Carly) of Loveland, CO and Jack Waldorf (Monica) of Erie, CO; her sister Lois; and also Roberts.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that any memorial donations be made to: Iowa National Heritage Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, National Wildlife Federation or Pathways Hospice of Loveland, Colorado.
