She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Allert and Ruth Allert. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Bentley (Julie) of Ames, Becky Christiansen (Kim) of Ames, Jane Weaver (Jim) of Ames, Carol Bentley-Iverson (Curt) of Decorah and Scott Bentley (Sarah) of Madison, Wisc.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gideon's and Hope Ministry of Des Moines.
