We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2021, at the age of 85, Faye Agnes Abel of Ames, Iowa, born in Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernadine Heidelberg (Sigler) and Frederick Heidelberg. She is survived by : her former life partner Arthur Abel; her husband Art; her children, Gregory Abel (Michelle) of Bremerton, WA, Kathleen Birdsall of Ames and Randal Abel (Lori) of Ames; her grandchildren, Jake Birdsall, Riley Abel (Shelbey Ellsworth), Ellie Colón (Anthony) and Shayna Abel (Carter Clayberg); her great grandchildren, Axton and Boston Colón; and her sister Frieda Clausen (Heidelberg). She is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Faye's name may be directed to Memorial Lutheran Church, the National T.T.T. Society, Chapter-DK of Ames, or the Households of Bethany.
