He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Nellie and Dennis Webster; his wife Virginia; his former wife Dorothy; his sister Phyllis Rodine; his daughters, Sharon Boen, Susan Fraser and Sandy Popelka (David); and his grandchildren, Timothy Hanway (Cheryl), Michelle Hanway Thurman (Walter), Nichol Fraser Lyftogt (Jason), Tyler Fraser (Jennifer), Kristofer Popelka (Dawn) and Kraig Popelka. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be forwarded to the First United Methodist Church or Kiwanis International.
