It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Curtis Christensen in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parent Norwegian; his wife Susan Sinclair Christensen; and his children, Curtis Christensen, Joyce Armstrong (Kim), William Christensen and Cheryl Samp (Ed). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to the Iowa State University Foundation.
