It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Glenn Vienhage Jr. of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Vienhage and Marjorie "Lazelle" Vienhage (Fisher); and his siblings, Linda Vienhage and Rick Vienhage. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vienhage (Gregory); his children, Christine Hassler (Christopher) of Clay City, KS, Mike Vienhage (Maya) of Fort Collins, CO, Jeff Vienhage, Jennifer Lindstrom (Mike) of Pierce, CO and Sarah Klemisch (Adam) of Windsor, CO; his grandchildren, Pea Pickers, Viktorjia Hassler, Molli Hassler, Logan Vienhage, Landon Vienhage, Morgen Lindstrom, David Lindstrom, Savannah Klemisch, Dominic Klemisch and Lyra Kahn (Loki Kahn); and his siblings, Joyce Jackson, Nancy Laderoute, Tom Vienhage, Cindy Brenner and Kathy Gerst. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
