He is survived by: his wife Kathryn I. Baker of Ames; his children, Delores A. Bear (Bruce) and James D. Baker (Teresa) of Ames; his grandchildren, Matthew Bear, Amy Smith (Curtis), Alicia Grund, Harlan Baker and Chelsea Baker; his great grandchildren, Tristan Smith, Stella Smith, Miles Grund and Owen Grund; and his sister-in-law Betty Baker of Ames. He is also survived by grandchildren grow from infants to parents and then great-grandchildren.
