She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Thorson and Jeanette Thorson (Wierson); her husband Jerry; her daughter Laura Jean Clark; her grandson Jeramie Grover; her son-in-law Don Corwin; and her siblings, Maxine Hovick (Milo), Mazel Johnson (Don), Jeffery Thorson (Betty), Onel Thorson (Leora) and Arle Thorson (Pat).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Corwin of Ankeny, Debbie Ballard (Lynn) of Cedar Rapids and Colleen Grover (Steve) of Waterloo; and her son-in-law Steve Clark of Ohio. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Bethesda Lutheran Church.
